Fixture mode never contacts the internet. To use live SerpApi Google Search, restart from your terminal with python -m sourcepatch --mode live and enter an existing key at the hidden prompt. No key is stored, logged, or sent to this browser.
Live mode sends public citation URLs to their sites and generated title/site queries to SerpApi. It uses at most eight searches per process. Use available credits; do not paste confidential documents. Choose a candidate to inspect bounded HTML evidence and anchors, then review its meaning yourself.
